Hirschmann IO ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Jagdzeiten Auto mobile application (the "Service"). This Service is designed to provide information on hunting and closed seasons for Android Automotive and Android Auto systems.

Protecting your privacy is our priority. Since this Service operates without GPS tracking, we do not collect or process any location data.

• Manual Selection: The selection of the federal state (currently Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg) is performed manually by the user. This preference is stored exclusively locally on your device to display the corresponding hunting seasons from the integrated database.
• No Location Data: We do not access the GPS location or network-based location data of your vehicle or smartphone at any time.
• Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or sell any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN).
• Usage Data: Diagnostic data (e.g., device model, OS version) is processed only locally to ensure compatibility with the respective infotainment system.

2. Third-Party Services

The application functions entirely offline. All hunting season data is stored in a local database within the app. There is no transmission of user data to external analytics services or advertising networks.

3. Data Retention

All settings, such as the selected federal state, are stored locally in the DataStore Preferences of your device. This data remains on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app or clear the app cache.

4. User Control

Since the app does not request sensitive permissions (such as location or contacts), no special authorization is required in the system settings. You maintain full control over the selection settings made within the app.

5. Security

While the app does not transmit personal data over the internet, we take reasonable technical measures to ensure the integrity of the locally stored information.
